School Tour Guides

Third and fourth grade school children from Camarillo and the surrounding areas visit the Camarillo Ranch to learn what it was like to live at the turn of the nineteenth century. School Tour highlights include exploring the 6,000 square foot 1892 Queen Anne Victorian style Camarillo Ranch House and 1905 Mule Barn, learning about how Adolfo managed the 10,000 acre ranch, and discovering what life on the ranch would have been like through educational activities. School Tour Guides lead the children in fun activities such as butter making, walnut cracking, roping “cattle,” planting lima beans, and more.
